The Make-Way program is a five year initiative (2021-2025) aimed at dismantling obstacles to Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) by adopting an intersectionality lens, which sheds light on overlapping vulnerabilities affecting young people’s SRH. By acknowledging systematic discrimination based on various aspects to identity such as sexual orientation, gender, race. Economic status and disability, the program seeks to address barriers to care, and the primary goal is to engage with minoritized groups of young people and gather their views on access to sexual reproductive health services, HIV and GBV from public health facilities. To achieve this, the project will be implemented in close collaboration with the District leadership through District Health Office (DHO) and District Education Office (DEO).In Uganda, the Make way consortium includes Akina Mama Wa Afrika a coordinating organization and SRHR-Alliance collaborating with other local organizations.
